Asus has developed a great reputation by developing a lineup of ProArt premium laptops designed to handle the demanding computing power needs of creatives and content creators. About two months before the release of the 2025 edition of the Asus ProArt P16, the company loaned me the laptop for two weeks so I could try it out. I’ve had the opportunity to review other laptops in the ProArt lineup in the past — which were impressive — but this latest model’s hardware configuration, overall performance, and design blew me away in terms of what’s now possible using a laptop for any type of content creation. 

This laptop is light, thin, and an absolute pleasure to work with. So, if you’re shopping for a higher-end laptop that can be used for on-location video or photo editing, graphic design, animation, CAD work, coding, audio production, or content creation, the Asus ProArt P16 will not disappoint. Through my testing, I discovered this laptop offers what most creatives need to efficiently create and manage content, plus handle their other advanced mobile computing. all while on-the-go. I found the laptop offers convenience, decent battery life, and is comfortable to use. For me, its biggest perk is the advanced and color-accurate display that consistently showcases smooth graphics and animations. The laptop has no problem handling premium video and photo editing, or pro-level content creation tools.

My Final Thoughts: Is the Asus ProArt P16 (2025) Worth It?

Not everyone needs a laptop with this much computing power and such an advanced and high resolution touchscreen display. For those that do, the Asus ProArt P16 is literally a dream come true. While not cheap, this laptop can be custom configured at the time of purchase from the Asus website. A handful of pre-configured options are available from online sellers, like Amazon. So, while the entry-level version of this laptop starts around $2,200, it’s easy to spend upwards of $4,000 for a fully souped-up configuration.

I love the overall design of this laptop. The black colored aluminum housing gives the ProArt P16 an almost futuristic look, but it’s the performance capabilities and display that truly won me over and set it apart from the competition. And when you’re done creating or editing content, you can use the laptop to stream TV shows or movies, or for gaming. As you’d expect, whatever is displayed on the screen looks fantastic, smooth, clear, accurate, and vibrant.
