What Comes in the Box
In the box, you also get three cabinet organizers that make it easy to keep your containers organized. If you don’t have vertical cabinet space and prefer to store your containers flat in a drawer, you can simply place these aside. Because my household isn’t large, I only needed the 13-piece Caraway Food Storage Set which came with two small, two medium, and one large glass food storage container.
For those with lots of food storage needs or larger households, the larger 22-piece set may be a better option. You can also purchase pieces individually based on the sizes you use most.

Quality, Feel, and Use
Unlike plastic food storage containers which are always pretty light, these are heavy and can take some getting used to. At the same time, they’re durable and sturdy, which is what you want from a food storage set.
I love the see-through design that allows you to see exactly what food you have stored through the clear glass top. To start using, simply remove the stickers from each piece, wash, and then start storing food right away.
The base of each storage piece is dishwasher and oven/microwave safe, which means you can take food right out of the fridge and warm it up in the oven. It’s important to note that the lids are not microwave oven safe, so you’ll need to find a different way to cover your food and prevent splattering when reheating.
Each glass food storage piece has a seal on the cover that keeps air out of food to keep it fresher for longer. When washing, be sure to remove the seal and scrub underneath for a thorough cleaning.

Replacing potentially toxic items in your home with non-toxic, clean-living products is a pricy task, no matter how you look at it. Think of it like you’re starting over with your first home because the chances are, you’ll have to replace more items in your kitchen than you can keep.
At the same time, there’s no price you can put on your health. If you ask me, health is wealth. With that in mind, I believe it’s worth the price point to upgrade your food storage set to this Caraway Food Storage Set.
