As an aficionado of premium sheets, I was not surprised at its “wash on cold” and “tumble dry on low” cleaning instructions. If you invest in a set of DOZ sheets, I highly recommend you follow those instructions to ensure that they last for a long time to come.
I’m glad to see Sujo went the extra mile to be OEKO-TEX Certified, which means they are free of over 100 nasty chemicals, such as formaldehyde, pesticide residues and flame retardants that absolutely no one want touching their skin night after night.

Unlike the linen sheets I’m used to that start off scratchy as a burlap bag and need to be washed a few times until they’re comfortable-comfortable, these bamboo sheets are ultra-smooth, silky, and extremely soft right out of the package. They effortlessly fit my king-sized mattress after their initial wash, and as you can see from the photos, they look stellar on my bed too!

I was not prepared for how slick, yet just shy of slippery, these sheets felt once I was in bed; they’re extremely light and creamy to the touch, and I liked the texture-free feel when compared to the minimal but still-there mildly coarse texture of linen. They’re particularly airy and breathable, and they match linen where it matters the most. The silky soft and cuddly feel knocked me out quickly and I stayed asleep for a long time each night I slept on them.
Being a Florida Man, cooling sheets are particularly important for a majority of the year, and with my testing time taking place in the heart of springtime, Sujo’s Doz sheets were certainly put to the test. They are comparatively as cooling as linen sheets, as they are breathable and do a top-tier job of absorbing sweat throughout the night to keep you even cooler. There is also a notable difference between the two- bamboo sheets are far more absorbent than linen sheets.
We all sweat while we sleep to one degree or another, and bamboo sheets outshine other materials when it comes to absorbing sweat and drying quickly. You feel less clammy throughout the night and cooler overall, but you may also note a bit of discoloration where the sheets soak in your sweat like a sponge when you wake up in the morning. Don’t worry: DOZ sheets are a snap to clean and refresh with cold water, and the smooth and reliably cool sleeping experience shouldn’t detract from the evidence these sheets are working as intended.
