Set Up and Assembly
The Evenflo Cora 3-Level Adjustable Bassinet was pretty easy to set up, taking under 15 minutes. The instructions were clear, though I always prefer to watch the set-up video as I go along, as I’m a visual learner.
You won’t need any tools to set up this bassinet, as the box comes with the bolts and assembly tool needed. Overall, I think anyone of any skill level can put this bassinet together. That being said, I did ask my husband for help tightening the bolts to ensure the bassinet was super sturdy for our baby.

With a longer lifespan than most bassinets, I appreciate that the Evenflo Cora 3-Level Bassinet gives parents a better value. Most bassinets are only good up until your baby is around six months, but this product is large enough and sturdy enough to support babies up to 12 months. If you’re having trouble transitioning your baby to their crib, or want to room-share a bit longer, this could be a feature that makes this bassinet a good buy for you.
The built-in sound and light machine capabilities are also a game-changer. This means one less product you have to buy, such as a sound machine that clips onto the bassinet. The integration with the Evenflo app is seamless, but you can also just adjust it right from the SensorySoothe bar if you want, which is very helpful.
Limitations of the Evenflo Cora-3 Level Bassinet
As far as limitations go, the only thing I wish this bassinet could do is provide a gentle motion. Since it’s already plugged into an outlet, it seems like an easy feature the brand could include. That being said, a bassinet that rocks is a luxury that isn’t truly necessary. Most babies will be more than fine sleeping in a bassinet like this one.
Personally, I don’t mind that the sides of this bassinet do not come down. However, if you’re adamant about getting a bassinet that has bedside sleeper capabilities, this won’t be the best option for you. If you know for sure you’re having a planned C-section, having an open-sided bassinet could make picking your baby up in the middle night a bit easier.
