Thanks to my family’s tradition of adding one or two new items to our Halloween decor every year, my front yard is starting to get pretty full. Still, there’s always room for one more. (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves reference, Costner fans!) So I decided to start filling up the tree branches, too, with the catchily-named Funboy* Halloween Ghost Decor (Hanging, 3-pack).
*Important note: I refuse to say “Funboy” in anything other than a very camp German accent.

The Unboxing
The Funboy Halloween Ghost Decor (Hanging, 3-pack) box I received for testing contained the following:
- Inflatable ghost x 3.
- Puncture repair kit.
- Hand pump.
- Hanging string x 3.
- Suction cup x 3.
The Design
The three ghosts are simple but effective, with facial features limited to large black eyes, and the ragged remains of shrouds dangling from their rudimentary arms. Made from a tough-seeming vinyl, they’re intended for either indoor or outdoor use.
The Set-Up
Set-up was as simple as you’d hope for such a product: Simply inflate, and hang. The box did include a hand pump, but having an electric pump to hand, I had all three inflated in less than a minute. The box also includes both window sucker attachments and white strings, so you have a few options of where and how to place them.
The Experience
I opted to use the strings and hung all three ghosts from tree branches outside. They’ve now been up for a week (yes, we decorate on October 1st, we’re those people), and so far are showing no signs of either deflating or having any kinds of marks or scuffs, despite the constant twirling around being poked by twigs, leaves, and, presumably, squirrels.
The perfect mix of cute and spooky for younger trick-or-treaters, they’re small enough to not get in the way, but large enough to be seen from the street. I was a little disappointed that they don’t glow in the dark (they just look like they should!) but all in all, they’re a solid addition to your Halloween decor.

The End Result
The fact these ghosts deflate makes them convenient for those who love Halloween, but don’t have much storage space. They’ll also look great as a smaller addition to your front yard decorations. They’re not going to scare anyone (unless they have a vinyl phobia), but they’re fun to have in the mix.
