Every so often, I get that urge to get my cat some toys. Most of the time, it ends up being a squeaky mouse. She still loves her original squeaky mouse she had as a little baby, even though I let my friend bring his huge dogs over and they ate out the chip inside of it that made it squeak.
She loves that gutted little mouse toy like no tomorrow, so would any other toy ever be able to compare to that?
Over the years, I have bought her a few different cat wands. Most of them come with a plastic handle, but one place in particular that had a weird cat wand was Temu. Their cat wands (and all of their cat toys) are so much smaller than what you would expect. I guess shrinkflation is how they keep their prices so cheap, but we’ll see what happens now due to all the new tariffs. I don’t see them continuing to do well because of them.
Anyway, one day I was at Total Wine picking up a bottle of Tattinger on Memorial Day Weekend. I went back into my car when I was done shopping, then started to drive to leave the parking lot. All of a sudden, I saw a pet store I’ve never seen before, so I decided to park before I even left the parking lot and began to look through what they had.

In there, I found this magical cat wand by ZippyStick with a unicorn on the end.
I thought to myself, Jennycat would definitely like this. And as I felt the stick, I could just tell how high quality this piece was.
This cat wand had layers to it. Not only did it come with a bamboo stick, but it had sparkly balls on it, then rainbow strings, and at the very end, a lovely unicorn.
When you hold the cat wand, you can definitely tell how much superior of a product it is compared to other cat wands out there. The sturdiness and quality of the build is definitely something you can feel, plus how the little balls are strung together really just gives the piece a magical touch, finished by the unicorn at the bottom.
I played with Jennycat for a while with the cat wand and she absolutely loves it.
Jennycat could play with this cat wand for hours. But does that mean she won’t play with her other cat wands?
No, she loves them all equally. Each and every single cat wand we have, she will play with. She does really enjoy this one a lot though.

To me, it is because of how durable it is, due to it being made out of bamboo. But is it a winner for Jennycat?

You could, but as an owner of the piece, the bamboo stick feels a lot better in your hand than a plastic stick. Plus, it has a lot of colors, which provides a positive sensory experience for everyone!
