What’s really cool about this new version of the Beast Mighty 850 Stainless Steel blender is that it now has a stainless steel container to keep drinks colder. By blending in pure stainless steel, you can take your smoothie on the go and keep it cold for up to 12 hours.
I took a low-carb smoothie on-the-go with me while shopping and got back to the car and it was still just as cold as when I first blended it. (And it was hot outside!) It’s also nice knowing this is a cleaner, non-toxic option to drink out of.
Appearance wise, you can’t beat the sleek look of this blender. The included straw and sip lids make it really easy to avoid dirtying up 10 dishes to make one smoothie. If you have a traditional blender (such as you’d use to blend a batch of margaritas), it may be worthwhile to upgrade to something you can both blend & drink from. I really like the slate blue/gray color of the “mist” too.

Overall, the usage of the Beast Blender 850 Stainless Steel is pretty straight forward. It’s nothing complicated. It only comes with one blade which is switched between blending vessels based on your preferred size.
This “Mighty” size does feel a little small. With the largest vessel at 785 ml, if you prefer to blend larger smoothies and juices, you’re going to want to go to the Beast Mega model that offers a larger capacity. That model comes with a full-size 30 oz vessel. Since I’m not a daily smoothie drinker, the size is more than sufficient. They also offer a smaller size (600), which I imagine feels pretty small.
Overall, I think the Beast Blender 850 Stainless Steel feels like a solid mid-size personal blender for dressings, smoothies, cocktails, and protein shakes. The construction feels solid and durable, though it’s hard to say how long any appliance used daily will last. The 2-year warranty is nice to have for peace of mind.

You won’t have a large learning curve when purchasing this product. In a busy world with products with endless features, the simplicity of this blender is welcome. The smaller included vessel feels really useful for whipping up quick dressings and sauces, while the larger vessel is an ideal size for protein smoothies and shakes.
Though “Beast” is a brand that isn’t quite as universally recognized yet as options like KitchenAid or Ninja, this blender’s solid construction feels great. For the small upgraded price, I recommend opting for the stainless steel version that keeps your beverages cold while on-the-go, especially if your primary use for this blender is for beverages.
