I’ve always been a fan of oversized totes and structured handbags, so when Kedzie’s PR agency sent me their Cloud 9 Convertible Sling, I wasn’t expecting much. But sometimes, the smallest surprises leave the biggest impressions. I ended up loving it for travels and weekend getaways.

It’s Versatile and Holds Up Well
Though it can be worn three different ways, I’ve only used it as a cross body. However, you could wear it like a sling or use the two adjustable straps (one of which I have since misplaced) to convert it into a backpack. I’ve found that the crossbody style is perfect for casual weekend trips.
Kedzie’s Cloud 9 Sling
I have it in Glacier Gray, a soft, off-white hue that’s surprisingly resistant to dirt and wear and tear. It also tends to go with about any color. If you’d rather, you could try it in a rich Mulberry or classic Black, which both have a slightly more elevated vibe.
I’ve actually stuffed this sling into a larger tote bag when flying to act as a sort of wallet. It keeps my valuables out of sight and secure as I navigate a crowded airport. And once I arrive at my destination, I’ve got a simple and small but roomy crossbody bag that won’t weigh me down as I’m out seeing the sights at a new destination.
Organization Options Galore
When I’m out and about, I like having creature comforts with me. This generally leads to me toting around a sizable purse, which can be super inconvenient if I’m sightseeing or doing a lot of walking. So when I’m traveling, I love using this Kedzie bag. Its petite dimensions (6.5 x 8 inches) are deceiving because this bag packs an organizational punch that rivals larger purses.
It has multiple compartments, including a zippered main compartment where I stash my wallet and keys along with a travel-size bottle of hand lotion. I use another front zippered pocket for odds and ends like a nail file and a pen. The mini compartment in front doesn’t get used as often, but it would work perfectly for stashing a hotel key. And I usually slip my phone into the open pocket in the back for easy access.
The main compartment also has a zippered inner pocket, so you can stash cash or house keys in there for added security. The cheetah print linting gives the bag a whimsical finish and adds a little extra interest while the adjustable crossbody strap feels sturdy and secure.
Keep It Casual
I don’t have negative things to say about the bag. Although I probably should have chosen one of the other three colors since they look a bit more polished, in my opinion.
The quilted material gives this sling a more casual feel, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. However, I tend to be on the dressier side if I’m going out, so I don’t use this bag if I plan to wear something more upscale than jeans and a tee.

Overall, I’ve been super impressed with the roominess of Kedzie’s convertible sling bag and its multiple pockets. Although it hasn’t replaced my everyday purse, Kedzie’s Cloud 9 Convertible Sling has earned its place as my travel MVP — versatile, organized, and stylish enough to keep up with my adventures.
