Love her or not, Oprah tends to be a trendsetter. Me? I keep an eye on trends but often wait five or six years before trying them out myself — if they’re still around. In the case of my new favorite pajamas from Cozy Earth, I’m right on schedule: Oprah added them to her list of Favorite Things back in 2019, and I’m here to tell you they are amazing.

They Had Me From the Unboxing
When Cozy Earth’s PR agency reached out about these pajamas, they originally thought I could write something up for Mother’s Day. Well, I offered to try a sample for myself instead (sorry, Mom!). Right out of the package, the set was so incredibly soft that I immediately threw them into the washing machine so I could wear them that night.
Made of viscose (from bamboo) and a bit of spandex, the long-sleeved top and pant set is a stretch-knit with a draped feel that makes me never want to take them off. The material is meant to be breathable and cooling, both things I can vouch for after wearing them at night for about two weeks now.
How They Fit
I ordered a size small and the top fits nearly perfectly. It’s a button-down, but I just slip the top on over my head and enjoy the flowy but flattering fit. I chose the regular rather than the tall, and that means the pants are maybe an inch or so too long for me. But really, it’s not a big deal, especially when I shift the waistband a bit higher.
I carry more of my weight around my midsection, so to me, the pants are a bit more snug around the waist than I’d like. However, that’s beautifully covered up by the relaxed-fit top, so it’s not a deal breaker.
So Put-Together, Yet so Unfussy
I opted for the black pajamas with white piping and mother-of-pearl imitation buttons, which honestly just makes me feel so put-together. I’m not going to wear these in public or anything, but I still hate feeling frumpy or uncomfortable in my at-home clothes, even pajamas. Word to the wise when choosing a color, though: Black, as usual, shows pet fur beautifully (as you can see in my photos of freshly-washed pajamas!)
So, in an ideal world, I’d always have cute, matching pajama sets handy. The reality, though, is that I generally tend to wear pjs and sweats until they’re worn out, so I often have a scruffy look. These pajamas are the exact opposite, and I absolutely love it. My husband immediately noticed and complimented me on how nice they looked. (I mean, they’re just pajamas, so I wasn’t expecting them to draw attention, but that speaks to how elevated they make you feel.)
Oh, and I can’t forget to mention the generously sized pant pockets. They hold my iPhone, which isn’t something you can often say about women’s pajamas. And I love that I can just run them through the washer and the dryer — no line drying or fussy care needed.
There’s Just One Thing
Other than the slightly snug (on me) fit of the pants, the only thing I dislike about this pajama set is the price tag. The regular price is $195, which is way more than I have ever spent on a pair of pajamas in my life. I’m admittedly pretty stingy when it comes to spending money on clothing, but even so, nearly $200 just seems excessive to me. However, I’ve already caught myself thinking a second pair would be so nice. Perhaps I can stalk the website in hopes of an amazing sale.

Treat Yourself (But Stay in Budget)
I can honestly say I have never loved a pair of pajamas as much as I do this pair. Despite the long sleeves and pants, I don’t get hot while wearing them, and the material is the perfect blend of flowy and flattering with plenty of soft stretch. The price is really the only negative thing about these PJs, but I’m also quite frugal about pajamas or at-home wear. If you’re looking to elevate your sleep experience and have room in your budget, these pajamas might just be the luxurious self-care upgrade you didn’t know you needed.
